SiltMax II DOT

Suitable for mild currents, waves, and wind the SiltMax Type II is designed for rapid deployment, east storage and handling. It is also appropriate for most regulated applications. SiltMax Type II is offered with impermeable and permeable options.

Differing from our Siltmax I DOT the SiltMax II DOT is equipped with a tension cable under the floatation and aluminum joint connectors with anchor points to anchor the curtain in flow.

SiltMax II barrier is specifically designed for in-water control of silt and turbidity around dredging activities, pile driving rip-rap installation, demolition work, etc. The economical design makes it a contractor’s project favorite for moving water and waves typically found in inter-coastal waterways, estuaries and rivers.
